You conjure an elemental force resembling a dust devil to wreak havoc in an area.

Choose an unoccupied 2m cube of air that you can see within range. A dust devil appears there for the duration. Any creature that ends its turn within 2m of the dust devil must make a Strength saving throw, taking 2d8 Wind damage.

Critical Success (+10). The target is unaffected.
Success. The target takes half damage and is pushed 2m away from the dust devil.
Failure. The target takes full damage and is pushed 4m away from the dust devil.
Critical Failure (–10). The target takes 1.5× damage and is pushed 6m away from the dust devil.

As a bonus action, you can move the dust devil up to 10m in any direction. If the dust devil moves over sand, dust, loose dirt, or light gravel, it sucks up the material and forms a 4m radius cloud of debris around itself that lasts until the start of your next turn. The cloud Heavily Obscures its area.


At Higher Levels. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell level increase.
